A tour of the farm portal

What each screen is for when you sit down at the desk.

After you sign in, the farm portal is where your paddock record lives. Samples you save on the phone show up here so you can map country, compare visits, file laboratory reports and — on Grower — run Soil Analysis.

Use the left-hand list:

Overview — a snapshot of how many samples you have, the farm map, and recent work.

Paddocks — draw each paddock, name it, and keep notes (standing instructions and a dated log for lime, fertiliser or stock).

Soil readings — the full list. Filter by date, paddock or sample name, chart what you need, print a report, or export a spreadsheet on Grower. You can also type in a reading if it never left the notebook.

Compaction — penetrometer tests with depth and resistance. They sit beside soil samples as field context, not as another chemistry result.

Insights — a filtered look at the period you choose, plus Soil Analysis on Grower if your plan includes it. It helps you read the record. It does not set a fertiliser or lime rate.

Lab reports — upload a laboratory PDF or photo and keep it with the paddock.

Further down: Properties (only if you farm more than one block), Account (your details, timezone and how many rows each list shows), Devices (link or disconnect a phone), Subscription, and Support if you need a hand.

If Weather appears in the menu, it is extra context (rain, air temperature) beside the soil record — it does not change the probe readings.
