How a season builds
Consistency matters more than complexity. Sample the same places under comparable moisture and the comparison does the work for you.
Draw each boundary in the portal once. Area is calculated for you, and readings snap to the right paddock from then on.
Let the probe settle, save the sample in the app, and optionally log a penetrometer compaction test at the same point. Each result carries its own date and GPS location into the record.
Come back to the same points next season and see what has changed. Anything that needs a number goes to the lab — with a better map of where to sample.
