Using compaction with soil readings

How penetrometer context appears on samples and Insights.

Compaction is field context, not a seventh soil chemistry indicator.

ON A SOIL READING
Open a sample. Matching compaction rows for the same sample name or paddock appear as recent penetrometer context so you can see whether a hard layer sat near that screening point.

ON INSIGHTS
Insights can list compaction tests inside the selected filters so seasonal soil chemistry is not reviewed without physical constraint notes.

ON THE COMPACTION SCREEN
The map clusters GPS-tagged tests and, when a paddock has enough points, clips a heatmap to the boundary. Choose the modelling depth; red still means the dial exceeded 300 PSI at that depth. The table is paginated using your Account records-per-page preference.

Delete a mistaken entry from the Compaction screen. Retained history is part of the farm record until you remove it.
