Setting up your account and first paddock

From sign-up to a mapped boundary in about five minutes.

1. Create your account at /register — it is free and needs no card.

2. Open Paddocks in your farm portal and choose Start drawing.

3. Click each corner of the paddock on the map. Three corners is the minimum; more corners means a more accurate area. Drag a white handle to nudge a corner that landed in the wrong spot, or double-click a handle to take it off.

4. Choose Finish placing. The area is calculated for you — override it if you know the real figure. You can still drag corners after finishing.

5. Name the paddock, pick a map colour, and save.

To reshape a paddock later, open Paddocks and click it on the map (or the map icon beside its name). Save changes — you do not need to delete it and start again.

Phone readings with a location inside a mapped paddock (or just outside the fence) attach to that paddock when they arrive. Set your farm timezone under Account so times on screen match the paddock clock.
