Recording a reading when you have no signal

Readings are saved on the phone first and uploaded when a connection is available. A second try on a patchy connection will not create a duplicate.

You can check when a device last synced under Account, then Devices, in the portal.

If a reading has not appeared after the phone has been back on signal for a few minutes, open the app and pull down on the readings list to force a sync.

The same app also uploads GPS-tagged penetrometer compaction readings; those sync on the same offline-first path.
